In my work, I've sat with many diverse peoples of all ages and backgrounds. The words shared in these spaces always spark creative thoughtlets and heartfelt connections that open many teachings on topics I've wanted to expand on somewhere. So I'm going to put my degree in English to use and start writing; about my own life experiences surrounding "healing", what I do in my work, questions I'm often asked, existential thought vomit, etc. You've been warned- just because I have a degree that taught me how to write well doesn't mean there will grammatical perfection or that my brain babies are always going to make sense or be agreeable for everyone. Enter at your own risk, so to speak. However, it is my intention that whoever reads my words feels the interconnectedness of human experience we all share in this brief lifetime and the courageous vulnerability it takes to be curious with an open heart. Ann Voskamp says it well, "Shame dies when stories are told in safe places," and I hope these musings can be an anchor, foothold, or springboard for deeper understanding.
